Sound effects

Once we had our main sound track ready, we moved onto finding some sound effects to layer over the top to add an extra dimension into the opening. Just like with the soundtrack, we found a site where there were copyright free sound effects, where we came across a site with the sound effects of heavy breathing that we were looking for.

Later on in the production we also realised we needed a sound effect for the foot stomp, and instead of looking for one on a copyright free site, we thought it would be easier and more realistic to record one by our self. So me and another member of the group got a MacBook with a recording app, and simply recorded the sound of a foot stomp in an empty hall way and the results were exactly what we were looking for.
